Favorite drugstore foundations - Fair & dry skin

Foundations are one of my favorite products to try out, and I think now I've got a collection of really well performing foundations. These are all drugstore but in Australia they range from about $20-$35.

Since foundations tend to be one of the most expensive things I purchase with the most uncertainty of liking them, I like do a lot of research and hold a list while I wait for a sale. 

When I look for a foundation I like them to be light yellow toned, help to cancel out my redness, not cake up on my dry skin and last at least 8 hours. 

Buying all the things - huge collective haul/ some first impressions

I went a little crazy buying things this month - no regrets. There were some awesome sales and just some new products I'd been trying to get since they were released in the US.

First up - Priceline 40% off haul. Priceline is our only real "drugstore" that sells a wide variety of makeup at ridiculous Australian prices but a couple times a year they have a 40% off sale. I found out about it a few days early thanks to someone on r/AustralianMUA.  Even with the 40% off it was still more expensive then regular price in the US. Makes me cry little tears.

 About a week and a 1/2 ago i made an order from one of my favorite online stores, BeautyJoint. In total with shipping  it came to $49.78. I also used $5 store credit and a coupon that is always available.

So today and tomorrow priceline has 40% off all cosmetics! online and I store. I'm sure any Australians reading this will understand how much of a big deal these kinda sales are, and a chance to do some major hauling of things you've been eyeing. I made up an initial list of things to get but got flustered and was pretty quick in grabbing some things. Never the less, I still managed to burn a hole in my wallet.

       

Sleek haul # 2 & first impressions

A few weeks back Sleek had a 20% off sale and seeing as they are already cheap even with shipping I decided to purchase mainly so I could get a better matching foundation.

Beauty joint seems to have really lowered the shipping now, making it a better deal then cherry culture even though they don't have sales, so I went a little crazy and I needed to get some backup items. Priceline was having. 50% off all Maybelline so I bought some things I'd been eyeing (and a few sneaky extras).

TooFaced Romantic eye palette review

It's no secret that I love these little TooFaced eye kits, and this one is no exception. The colours are always so pretty and well formulated. I got my romantic eye palette from beauty bay for $36 with free shipping. This palette is especially suited for green eyes, but of course any eye colour can wear it. I love the really wedding theme of this one as well, it could make a great bridesmaid's gift.
