Glamourflage - Australian skincare reveiw

A while ago I was sent some products to try out by  Australian skincare brand Glamourflage. I received the face cream, eye cream, cleanser, lip balm and lip tint. I've been testing out these products for about a month and have some thoughts to share.  You can find these products in stores at David Jones or online at the Glamourflage website. I've included the pricing and ingredient list for each product.

I'm so inconsistent with these things as my favourites tend not to vary too much month to month, but lately Ive also had some things Ive really not enjoyed as well as working towards finishing a bunch of products.

Urban Decay Full Frontal Lipstick Stash: Lip-swatches

 

I hope you're as excited as me, but thats probably a longshot. With the recent release of Urban Decay at Mecca in Australia (FINALLY!?) I thought I'd venture out just away from UD eyeshadows. This set is not available in Aus, sadface, but hopefully if you were curious about any of these colours this post will help you decide. Spoiler: They're pretty.

I never received half my order, for some reason they sent it in two packages (?) and I only received the small one. It took about weeks of back and forth email and waiting for time to pass before they would give me a refund, of which their customer service said was processing, however I also never received that. Bad form, Benefit. I was unhappy with my products and their customer service was even worse.

14/06/15 

Since contacting to receive a refund, they made a mistake and accidentally refunded me too much.  To rectify their mistake, they charged me 3 more times without my authorization. Thanks, Benefit. You are truly incompetent. Ive never had an online shopping experience so awful.

Priceline 40% off sale 24/03/15 - Part 2

As promised, here is part 2 of my haul. I ordered it on Tuesday morning and it came on Thursday.  Ive had a chance to try most of the products so I can offer some first impressions as well.

Oh yes.. there will be parts. I made a cheeky online order this morning complete with furious refreshing and swearing and browser changing. Makeup sales are srs bsns. But I think I picked up everything I had on my list with a few cheeky extras. Here is part 1, my in-store haul. Part 2 will be up when my online order comes in. 

Priceline 40% off sale wishlist

Just a quick visual post to illustrate my thoughts and some of the things I want to pick up at the upcoming Priceline sale on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th of March. I'm planing on making an online order and going in-store as my local Priceline doesn't carry some of the things or shades I want. Pro sale tip: Make a document with hyperlinks to add to your cart the night before the sale as the website will most likely be slow and painful. It's best to do it early in the morning but I'm just that crazy that I'd wake up at 4am to make my order and make sure I get everything I wanted.

  Now wait for me to make a haul post with nothing that was on my list.

Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Gel Wash & Primple Cream review

 Recently having clear skin has been more important to me as I have started a new job in which I don't wear makeup too. Having normal-dry skin that isn't sensitive I usually don't have too much to worry about, however now and then I come across a primer that does break me out, which is was I've been dealing with for the last few weeks (NYX angel veil I'm looking at you...grr).

So pretty much every time I have to go into town and do something, I bribe myself with the thought of a trip to priceline. In these trips I usually have no intention of getting anything in specific and come out with things that I deffinatley don't need, but fuels my addiction and keeps me happy :) 

7 affordable nude lipsticks - swatches

Although I love playing with all kinds of colours of lipsticks, there's nothing I love better then a good ole flattering nude. I have quite a few I really love so I thought I'd share some. They're all pretty cheap too, and most of them are available in-store in Australia. So here are some lip swatches + arm swatches.

Over the last month I've picked up a couple things, first from a couple priceline trips. My rewards points came in and I had $15 to spend, as well as a $5 off for my mums birthday since I use her card. Second was a BH order in their valentines sale, most things i got were 50-75% off. 

Australis velourlips lips watch & reveiw

Veleroulips are a matte lip cream that apply creamy and dry within seconds. They're about 9.95$ wherever you go but are frequently on sale. I beleive there are about 15 in the collection and 2 limited edditons, I only have 5. Ive had most of these for quite a while but i rarely wear them, but with the newer shades launching this February, i'm trying to make myself wear them.

Priceline & Target haul - 30% off Chi Chi

Today I had a job Interview which went well so while I was out I decided to head to target as there was 30% off Chi Chi (eyes & lips only) and I've only tried a lip gloss from them before and had always heard good things. While I was there I stopped by Priceline because that's my second home. 

My Favourite purple lipsticks

Purple is one of my favorite colours to wear on my eyes and lips, i find it to be a really nice combination of looking fun and unique and completing my complexion. Ive built up a collection of literally over 20 purple lip products, some i love and some i don't really care for. Here are 12 of my favorites. (All drugstore!).

Naked 3 - Pictorial # 2

I think I finally conquered my fear of false lashes - maybe. I dunno. I only applied them to one eye because I messed the liner up on the other side, so awkward half face photo. I also had no other face makeup besides foundation because my brushes were drying.  ;(
